Fourth grade students learn the four major money management skills: saving, spending, donating and investing, and how going to college might mean having much more money to manage! For nine weeks in the Fall, The PEAK Staff will carry out 40 minute lesson plans in all 23 fourth grade classrooms. By using an age-appropriate financial literacy curriculum, these lesson plans introduce the students to basics about money management, correlate greater earning power with more education and at the same time, they also learn about college!
