Eighth graders get prepared for their building's day-long Reality Store event by learning about the correlation between earning power and education and the serious financial consequences of dropping out of high school. They also pretend to be a 28-year old and are assigned a specific "role" (occupation, level of education, family, etc.) to play during Reality Store.
